The World of Hentai Comics
Hentai comics offer one of the most shocking and bizarre worlds found within manga. Hentai differs greatly from standard shoujo manga; instead it often depicts filthy behavior such as magical creatures with three huge black pulsing penises, anal fucking between 2-10 guys, surreal nymphs with 20 size breasts and other such depraved situations. But don’t mistake its sexual content for simple shock value; each scene always carries with it some significance beyond shock value; every scene always contains deeper meaning beyond simply shock value!
Hentai can be traced back to China during the Heian period when Chinese ideas in art and literature began permeating Japan. Around 1600, an innovative form of woodblock print known as shunga was born that depicted sexual activities between women and men of Japanese heritage; sold at art shows or auctioned off for highest bidder, these prints eventually made their way into samurai or noble families’ collections as part of their art collections.
These comics were true hentai comics in every sense, yet also provided an incubator of ideas and cultural movements throughout Japan that eventually resulted in the creation of an entirely new genre of manga: hentai manga.
Hentai manga, commonly referred to in Japan as ecchi manga, refers to any manga with sexually erotic content that does not go beyond mere fantasy or explicit sexuality. Hentai differs from porn in that its sexual themes generally do not cross over into explicit material.
Violent Hentai manga are one subcategory of doujinshi, or fan produced manga featuring characters from popular anime TV series or major professional manga, produced as fan works by individual fans for distribution on their own or as fanzine for sale online. Doujinshi don’t always need to be inappropriate – many have shoujo and shonen styles that appeal more widely among readers.
However, there are only a handful of books about hentai manga to read – with Kimi Rito’s The History of Hentai Manga being an excellent read on this subject matter. Kimi provides great background information regarding its development over time – making this must-read reading material for fans of this specific genre!
